Wild Rift Patch Notes 6.2a

We’re hot off the tails of our big 6.2 update! We made a lot of changes, so we’re following up with some needed balance changes.

Patch 6.2 brought a lot of new changes to the game. The team has been keeping a close eye on how all the changes have shaken up the meta and are delivering some balance changes to bring some champions back in line. Lets dive in!

NEW

EMULATOR UPDATE

Starting in Patch 6.2, Wild Rift will no longer support the use of emulators.


CHAMPION CHANGES

We’ve noticed after the adjustments to game pacing and other factors, some junglers could use a little boost. So, we’re buffing a few across the board. We’re also making some adjustments to Ambessa, since she is a little overturned. These changes should help her curve more in the mid-game. And lastly, Miss Fortune is shocking and aweing her foes a little too much with her damage, so we’re tuning her damage down.

  • Cooldown: 9/8/7/6s → 8/7/6/5s

Safeguard

  • Cooldown: 17/16/15/14s → 15/14.5/14/13.5s

  • Base Shield: 70/130/190/250 → 80/140/200/260

MASTER YI

Highlander

  • Bonus Attack Speed: 30/50/70% → 30/60/90%

KHA'ZIX

Base Stats

  • Base Armor: 35 → 40

Unseen Threat

  • Additional Damage: 10 + 8 × Champion Level + 50% Bonus Attack Damage → 15 + 8 × Champion Level + 50% Bonus Attack Damage

Taste Their Fear

  • Bonus Damage to Isolated Targets: 100% → 110%

SHYVANA

Burnout

  • Cooldown: 15/14/13/12s → 14/13/12/11s

Dragon's Descent

  • 200 Stacks of Draconic Bloodline: Burnout gains 25% additional Bonus Movement Speed → Burnout gains 30% additional Bonus Movement Speed

  • 400 Stacks of Draconic Bloodline: Gain 15% Omnivamp → Gain 20% Omnivamp

AMBESSA

Cunning Sweep

  • Cooldown: 9/8/7/6s → 10/9/8/7s

  • Cunning Sweep Base Damage: 40/50/60/70 → 30/40/50/60

  • Drakehounds edge Base Damage: 80/100/120/140 → 60/80/100/120

  • Sundering Slam First Target Base Damage: 90/120/150/180 → 70/100/130/160

  • Sundering Slam Other Targets Base Damage: 45/60/75/90 → 35/50/65/80

MISS FORTUNE

Love Tap

  • Damage when at 3 Stacks (max stacks): 30 + 75% Bonus Attack Damage → 15 + 40% Bonus Attack Damage

  • Miss Fortune’s Damage to the target increase: 8~13.6% → 6~10.9%

Double Up

  • Ricochet Bullet Damage: 130% → 120%


GAMEPLAY CHANGES

SYSTEM

Inhibitor Turret

Inhibitor turrets are currently too easy to take down, so we’re increasing their durability to help them withstand heavy sieges

  • Armor: 30 → 50
  • Magic Resist: 30 → 50

Anti-Snowball Shield Mechanic

Back-to-back tower pushes through inner and inhibitor turrets can feel frustrating. We've adjusted the shield mechanic to give teams more breathing room and slow down the pace of Battles.

  • (Old) Before 11:30, if the first inner turret on a lane is destroyed, the inhibitor turret in that lane gains a 1600 HP shield. → (New) Before 11:30, for every inner turret destroyed on a lane, the corresponding inhibitor turret gains a 1600 HP shield.

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed a bug where Fantasy Orchestra could get stuck in certain positions.
