Wild Rift Patch Notes 6.2b - Main & Adventure Modes

We’re grooooovin’ right on into Patch 6.2b. We’ve made a handful of balance changes, the return of AAA ARAM, Arena, ARURF as well as the launch of Space Groove Lux!

GAME MODES 

AAA ARAM

AAA ARAM is back, and better than ever! To learn more about the AAA ARAM updates this patch read our recent Rift Report here

AAA ARAM will be available to play from July 31 00:01 UTC until October 22 00:01 UTC 

ARENA 

Along with AAA ARAM, Arena is returning too! Grab a friend and prove you’re the best of the best. 

Arena will be available to play from August 1 00:01 UTC until October 22 00:01 UTC 

ARURF 

All the fast pace action is back, this time with a dash of extraness! 

ARURF will be available to play from August 1 00:01 UTC until August 14 00:01 UTC


CHAMPION CHANGES

This patch we’re packing a punch and a few pricks. Sett’s been hitting the gym and is beefed up and ready to throw it down even harder, especially during the laning phase. Talon is sharpening his blades to slice through his foes with more ease. You’ll also notice that Zyra’s damage is a little less thorny in lane, but we’re keeping her rooted in strengths. And last but not least, Singed is being slowed down. He’ll need more than just a trail of poison to breeze through the early game.

GALIO

Since the nerf to Shield of Durand, AP builds on Galio have dominated. We're aiming to bring AP Tank builds back into the spotlight. Galio’s max health now contributes more to Shield of Durand’s damage reduction, and its effectiveness has been improved at close range. Additionally, Galio can now trigger his passive more to maximize its impact. We believe these changes will give Galio greater build flexibility and help him return to his role as a true mage-slaying sentinel.

Colossal Smash

  • Cooldown: 5/4/3s → 5s

  • Gain 40% attack speed when passive is active.

  • When an ability hits an enemy champion or epic jungle monster, it reduces Colossus Smash’s cooldown by 3s (each ability can only trigger this once)

  • Damage: 15 + 100% Attack Damage + 12.5 × (Champion Level - 1) +50% Ability Power + 60% Bonus Magic Resist → 15+100% Attack Damage +10 × (Champion Level - 1) +45% Ability Power + 60% Bonus Magic Resist

Shield of Durand

  • Takes Reduced Magic Damage: 25/30/35/40+5% Ability Power +8% Bonus Magic Resist → 25/30/35/40 + 4% Ability Power +8% Bonus Magic Resist +1%Bonus Health

  • Takes Reduced Physical Damage: 12.5/15/17.5/20+2.5% Ability Power +4% Bonus Magic Resist → 12.5/15/17.5/20+2% Ability Power +4% Bonus Magic Resist +0.5% Bonus Health

  • The ability’s initial range has been increased, while its total range and charge time remain unchanged.

  • This ability does not deal damage to minions or jungle monsters. 

  • Channeling can be interrupted when Galio is crowd controlled

Justice Punch

  • Damage to Minions and jungle monsters: 50% → 85%

  • Bonus Damage: 90% Ability Power  →   80% Ability Power

SETT

Base Stats

  • Base Armor: 40 → 46

  • Base Health: 650 → 690

TALON

Blade's End

  • Bleeding Base Damage: 80~280 → 100~300

  • Bonus Movement Speed for when an enemy champion is killed while bleeding: 40% → 50%

Noxian Diplomacy

  • Bonus Attack Range duration after cast: 1s → 1.5s

  • Cooldown reduction for killing the target: 50% → 65%

Rake

  • Cooldown: 9/8.5/8/7.5s → 8/7.5/7/6.5s

VARUS

Base Stats

  • Base Health: 570 → 600

  • Attack Damage per level: 3.6 → 4

Piercing Arrow

  • Base Damage: 70/130/190/250 + 100/110/120/130% Attack Damage → 80/140/200/260 + 110/120/130/140% Attack Damage

Blighted Quiver

  • Cooldown: All levels 30s → All levels 25s

  • Base Damage: 15/23/31/39 → 20/30/40/50

ZERI

Living Battery

  • Damage: 8/10/12/14/16+100/102.5/105/107.5/110% Attack Damage → 13/15/17/19/21+104/108/112/116/120% Attack Damage

ZYRA

Base Stats

  • Base Armor: 34 → 37

Deadly Spines

Spellbook Mechanics Changes

We’ve been listening to your feedback since we shared some of the new features coming to AAA ARAM. Based on your input, we’ll continue to adjust the rollout timing of new content flexibly, so that we can bring surprises and fresh experiences throughout the entire patch cycle. So, we’ll be adjusting the release schedule for the Spellbook mechanics and Sync-Up Augment. By launching these features later in the patch, we hope to combine them with additional gameplay updates to bring a richer and more enjoyable experience to everyone.

Balancing Change

Transmissible Agents
  • Your heals and shields are also granted to another teammate, Effect value: 100%  → 75%

Lupine Soul
  • Damage: 30~60 + 20%Bonus Attack Damage + 20% Ability Power  → 30~60 + 60%Bonus Attack Damage + 30% Ability Power

Tectonic Rift
  • Damage: 6 × lvl + 40% Bonus Attack Damage + 20% Ability Power  → 6 × lvl + 60%Bonus Attack Damage + 30% Ability Power

Heartsong Bolt
  • Damage per magic bolt: 3% Enemy’s Max Health × (1 + 0.05% Bonus Health + 300% × Heal and Shield Power) → 2% Enemy’s Max Health ×(1 + 0.02%Bonus Health + 300% × Heal and Shield Power)

  • Trigger Range 5m → 8m

Executioner
  • Deal 10% → 15% bonus damage to enemy with lower than 30% Health

Combo Strike
  • After using a movement ability, your next attack strikes twice, dealing 75% → 100% damage

Spellblade Combo
  • After using an ability, your additional attack deals 75% → 100% damage 

Dual Strike
  • Damage Stored Ratio: 15% → 20%

Lion's Spellblade
  • Damage: 100% Physical Damage + 50% Ability Power → 120% Physical Damage +60% Ability Power

  • Healing Effect: 40~100+50% Physical Damage + 25% Ability Power → 60~120+60% Physical Damage + 30% Ability Power

Health Marker

Leviathan
  • Gain 3% → 4% Attack Damage and Ability Power for every 10% increase in size

Kaboom, Meow!
  • Damage: 40~80 + 40% Bonus Attack Damage + 20% Ability Power → 60~120 + 60% Bonus Attack Damage + 30% Ability Power

Stack Assault
  • Bonus damage for each Basic Attack: 2% → 3%

Starlight Cross
  • Deal 8%>>10% of your Mana as Additional Magic Damage

Stroke of Luck
  • Critical Rate: 25% → 50%

  • Fixed an issue where Gambler's Blade stored gold could not be boosted by Stroke of luck.

Melee Shield
  • Shield amount 60~180+40% Bonus Attack Damage + 20% Ability Power + 5% Bonus Health → 100~200+80% Bonus Attack Damage + 40% Ability Power +8% Bonus Health

  • Cooldown for each champion: 15s → 10s

Whale
  • Dragon Soul Potion: Purchase cooldown increased to 75 seconds.

  • Revival Elixir: Purchase cooldown increased to 75 seconds.
